group Therapy

Fostering connection, empowerment, and healing together.

At the OCD MN, we believe in the power of healing in a community setting. Group therapy is a cornerstone of our approach, providing a supportive environment where you can connect with others who understand the challenges and triumphs of living with OCD and anxiety disorders.

Our group therapy options

We offer a diverse range of group therapy sessions tailored to meet various needs and preferences, ensuring that everyone can find a suitable group.

Support groups

These groups provide a safe space for sharing personal experiences and challenges, facilitating emotional support and empathy among members.

skills groups

Focus on developing specific therapeutic skills that help manage symptoms effectively. These sessions are structured around teaching and practicing new strategies in a supportive group setting.

workshops

Educational sessions that delve deeper into understanding OCD and anxiety disorders, offering practical advice and coping mechanisms to enhance everyday living.

community events

Engage with the broader community through events that promote awareness, reduce stigma, and foster connections among those affected by OCD and anxiety.

Participating in group therapy can be an incredibly affirming and transformative experience.

It allows individuals to see that they are not alone in their struggles, fostering a sense of belonging and mutual support. Our groups are facilitated by experienced practitioners who guide discussions, ensuring that every voice is heard and respected.

    Radically Open DBT Group

The RO DBT group at our clinic is part of a comprehensive RO DBT program designed to address issues related to excessive self-control. As part of this program, participants are required to engage in both individual and group therapy sessions on a weekly basis. Each participant must attend a weekly individual therapy session with a clinician trained in RO DBT. This one-on-one approach complements the weekly group sessions, allowing participants to deeply explore personal issues and refine the skills they learn in the group context.

For more information or to register for our RO DBT program, our specialist, Marie, will contact you schedule a free 15-minute consultation.
